NoMa Meeting Rooms

Please review all MEETING ROOM POLICES before reserving. Reserving a meeting room is confirmation you have read ALL polices before reserving. The Library reserves the right to approve, deny, modify, or cancel reservations and determine whether a request qualifies as a reservation or rental.

General NoMa Meeting Room Types, Reservation Policies & Information

  • Reservations are limited to 2 hours per session, including setup and cleanup.
  • Reservations may be made up to 14 days in advance.
  • Groups may reserve space for up to 8 reservations per month.
  • Additional reservations will require a rental agreement.
  • Users must follow all library policies and are responsible for any damage to equipment or facilities.

  • Food and beverages are only permitted in designated areas with prior approval.
  • Reservations will be canceled if the reserving party has NOT arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time and has not notified the Wilmington NoMa Library of a delay.


Permitted Use: Rehearsals, classes, auditions, fitness activities, photography, and video production.
  • Reservations are limited to 2 hours.
  • Appropriate footwear is required.
  • Food is prohibited; water is permitted in closed containers.
  • Mirrors, flooring, and equipment may not be altered.
  • Commercial, ticketed, or private events require a rental agreement


Permitted Use: Coding, graphic design, editing, digital literacy, business development, and creative projects.
  • Reservations are limited to 2 hours.
  • Users may not install software or alter system settings.
  • Files should be saved externally; stored files will be deleted.
  • Commercial training or exclusive group use may require a rental agreement.

Permitted Use: Recording, podcasting, music production, voiceover work, and content creation.
  • Reservations are limited to 2 hours.
  • A valid library card and photo ID are required.
  • New users are required to complete an orientation.
  • Maximum occupancy: 4 people. Additional people will require booking Multipurpose A.
  • Equipment may not be moved, altered, or removed.
  • Users are responsible for saving their work and complying with copyright laws.
  • Commercial projects may require a rental agreement.

The Rooftop Terrace is available only for Wilmington NoMa Library-sponsored programs, approved partner events, and authorized rentals.
  • Private events must be approved through the rental process.
  • No open flames, fireworks, balloon releases, confetti, or glitter.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Amplified music may require a City of Wilmington sound permit.
  • The Wilmington NoMa Library may cancel, relocate, or modify events due to weather, safety, or operational concerns.

Businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, organizations, and vendors interested in using the Pop-Up Shop or Café space must submit a proposal for review. Approval is based on space availability, community benefit, and compatibility with the Wilmington NoMa Library’s mission.


The Teaching Pantry is reserved for Wilmington NoMa Library-sponsored and NoMa partner programs only.
  • The Teaching Pantry is not available for public reservations or private rentals.
  • All users must follow applicable food safety, sanitation, and facility guidelines.
  • A designated program lead must be present during use.
  • Any required permits, licenses, or certifications must be provided prior to the program.
  • All food, supplies, and equipment must be removed at the conclusion of the program.
